How to Remove Dried Paint Drips

Easy to remove latex drips: moisture and time. See video inside.

So easy. Video below, but just do this:

Is the paint latex? (Yes if it gets gooey when you rub alcohol or acetone on it). If oil paint, skip down a bit.

Latex drips:

Soak the drip (cover with a water soaked paper towel or the like)

Wait

Remove and scrape off with fingernail.

Done.

Oil drips?

That’s harder. You have to remove it with a scraper and you will probably damage what it is stuck to, so be ready to touch up.

In this video you will see that it was VERY tough as the paint went into the wood grain.
