The appeals are over and the judges find that the paint companies (now mostly Sherwin Williams) and their insurers must pay California to remove lead paint. Gottcha.

You can read the legal details here, but let’s just get to what’s most important. These paint company men, and they were all men, knowingly sold paint that is harmful and the effects are still with us today. It’s been known for 80 years!
